Bellaire was founded in 1908, and is known as the “City of Homes”, owing to its residential character. Bellaire has grown from a population of 200 in 1910 to a population of 18,966 in 2018.  In Harris County, Bellaire is considered one of the best places to live in Texas. Living in Bellaire offers residents a sparse suburban feel and most residents own their homes. Bellaire is one of the best neighborhoods in which to raise a family. The infrastructure has grown tremendously in Bellaire and there now are an abundance of restaurants, coffee shops, and neighborhood parks. There is also a new HEB which rivals Central Market.  Bellaire is easily accessible to both the 610 Loop and 59, which makes it an easy commute to anywhere in the city of Houston. The public schools in Bellaire are excellent and highly sought after.
