The Butcher Shop is selling brined + ready-to-cook turkey for $6.99/lb or pre-cooked smoked turkey for $7.99/lb; half or whole roasted prime rib with au jus, pommes purée and Yorkshire pudding ($300 for 5-7 people, $550 for 8-12); and sides such as cornbread-and-sausage stuffing, corn soufflé, giblet gravy, creamed spinach + whipped potato (from $72 for 4 servings). Harold's in the Heights is offering full turkey packages for $229.95, turkey breast packages for $169.95, + a ham package for $189.95, each recommended for 6-9 people. Or they have an option to order by the serving- $24.95/serving for up to 20 servings. Sides are available for $6.50/serving. Don't forget to pick up some wine + dessert- Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie, Pumpkin Pie, or Granny Cake! They also have an opportunity to donate a meal + they will match it! Underbelly is preparing Thanksgiving dinner so you don't have to! You can expect creative twists on old classics like Jalapeno Cheddar Cornbread Dressing or Day After Thanksgiving gumbo as well as more traditional fare. We're salivating over the Pumpkin Buckwheat Pie for dessert! Order your items before Saturday, November 21st at 10pm, + pick up your order in the parking lot behind Georgia James and Hay Merchant (1100 Westheimer) on Wednesday, November 25th between 11am + 3pm.
Their juicy, deep-fried turkey is injected with Cajun seasonings, as is the always festive turducken - deboned chicken stuffed in a deboned duck stuffed in a deboned turkey that also comes stuffed with jalapeño cornbread or dirty rice for $95. Jonathan's Thanksgiving Menu is only available to be picked up on Thanksgiving Day. Enjoy a fried turkey that serves up to 12 people for $75 as well as a la carte gravy and side dishes starting at $10/pint. Don't skip the desserts- with options like Snickers Pie, Coconut Cream Pie, and Chocolate Black Out Cake.
